A Case of Leiomyosarcoma of Spermatic Cord

Abstract

|
Sarcomas of the spermatic cord are rare and highly malignant. Radical orchiectomy with early high ligation of cord is the treatment of choice for spermatic cord leiomyosarcoma. Oing to a strong tendency for local recurrence, spermatic cord
leiomyosarcoma requires adjuvant therapy with chemotherapy, radiation therapy and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. We report a case of the leiomyosarcoma of the spermatic cord and review adjuvant therapy with radiation.
